MATERNITY SESSIONS

Capturing and embracing this magical journey into motherhood. Whether its your first pregnancy or your last, all are worth documenting and something Jamie is so passionate about is making mamma’s feel beautiful and empowered. 

Although it doesn’t always feel short-lived, pregnancy is such a short season and capturing the little miracle growing in your belly provides such a beautiful keepsake to share with your kids in years to come. 

We book maternity sessions from 32 weeks and these typically take place in a beautiful outdoor location. You have access to our client wardrobe which has been carefully curated for expecting Mum’s.

 FAQs

  • Having lived in Canberra for 10 years, we’ve built up quite a repertoire of go-to locations we like to use for our sessions. We’re asking you to have a scroll through either our website or our Instagram page for locations you’d like to use for your session and either direct message us the post or screenshot it and email it to us. We can then let you know if that particular location is suitable for your session.

  • We have the expecting Mamma covered with a small collection of carefully curated Client Wardrobe pieces. We encourage nude underwear and strapless bras for any off the shoulder pieces.

    However our biggest piece of advice when it comes to wardrobe and styling your sessions, is to keep it simple.

    Neutral tones with texture and layering looks phenomenal and timeless. Long dresses for the ladies, button up shirts for the guys, overalls and low maintenance all-in-one options for little ones is great too.

    We ask that you go for neautral footwear think (tan leather) and to avoiding white sneakers as they stand out in our landscapes. We also find that blue tones aren’t favourable either due to our warmer editing style.

  • We typically shoot for 1 hour close to sunset.

  • Typically 2 -3 weeks for family sessions.
